Ingredients

Fruit
  • 2 cup fresh pineapple chunks
  • 2 cup strawberries, halved
  • 2 cup fresh mango, cubed
  • 1 cup jicama, julienned
  • 0.5 red onion, thinly sliced
Chili lime dressing
  • 0.25 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1 tsp Tajín seasoning
  • 1 jalapeño, minced
  • 0.25 Fresh cilantro for garnish

Method

Mix the fruit
  1. Add fresh pineapple chunks, strawberries, mango, jicama, and red onion to a large mixing bowl, spreading them into an even layer.
  2. Use a gentle fold to combine the fruit so the jicama and onion are distributed throughout without bruising the strawberries.
Make chili lime dressing
  1. Whisk fresh lime juice with Tajín seasoning and minced jalapeño until the seasoning looks evenly suspended.
  2. Pour the lime-chili dressing over the fruit mixture and toss gently to coat all pieces.
Chill and serve
  1. Cover and let the salad chill for at least 30 minutes so the flavors meld and the fruit turns extra cold.
  2. Just before serving, garnish with fresh cilantro and serve cold.

Notes

For the best texture, chill at least 30 minutes but keep it covered to prevent the cut fruit from drying out; it’s best eaten the same day. This does not freeze well. If you want it dairy-free, it’s already naturally dairy-free—just double-check the Tajín blend you use for any added ingredients you may avoid.
