Method

Prep and line
  1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the mini pretzel squares or rounds in a single layer.
  2. Melt the white chocolate melting wafers in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until completely smooth.
Coat with white chocolate
  1. Spoon or drizzle the melted white chocolate over each pretzel, covering the top but leaving the edges slightly visible.
Make the red and blue drizzle
  1. Melt the red candy melts in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until completely smooth.
  2. Melt the blue candy melts in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until completely smooth.
Drizzle and decorate

  2. Immediately scatter the red, white, and blue star sprinkles over each piece while the chocolate is still wet.
Set and serve
  1. Let the pretzel bites sit at room temperature for 30 minutes until fully set, then break apart and serve.
  2. Alternatively, refrigerate for 10 minutes until fully set, then break apart and serve.

Notes

Pro tip: keep the microwave sessions short (30 seconds) and stir between each to avoid scorching the chocolate. Store airtight at room temperature up to 2 days (or refrigerate up to 5 days); freeze yes—freeze in a single layer, then bag, up to 1 month and thaw at room temperature. For a dairy-free swap, use dairy-free white chocolate melting wafers and proceed the same way.
